Maison O Thé

Saint-Laurent

Welcome to our Dreamland!

This store embodies the child in us who wants to have fun and reconnect with our past, allowing our innocent "self" to live freely and confidently with everything around us.

The mix of light blue and light pink represents the freedom of creative and imaginative space that allows us to comfortably reconnect with our inner child. In a dream world where we rediscover ourselves, it's easy for a person to get lost in past thoughts. After all, the memories we tend to hold on to are usually the happiest and best of our lives.

"Whenever I think about living a motivated life, I always find myself thinking about childhood, the dreams I had and the motivation that drove me through anything. Is it the aspiration to realize those dreams and reach my full potential? Or because I want to get back the motivation I had? Or maybe it's because I want to relive the joys of being a child? Or maybe it's because I want to live the experiences I never had the chance to have?  Deep in my subconscious, I know the answer lies in this precious time. However, I can't identify what it is exactly, not yet anyway.”

That is why Kelvin, the owner of MOT SL, decided to transform the store into a Dreamland: a space where we go to disconnect from reality and allow ourselves to reconnect with our inner child.

Thanks to the store's nostalgic, aesthetic atmosphere and the fun events organized here, Kelvin hopes to invite anyone walking in to explore the hidden wonders of the word “childhood”. Whether it's to relive amazing memories or to experience moments we've missed, Dreamland is here to reconnect the past and the future, and to give us the gift of the "present".

If you’ve ever allowed yourself to reconnect with a dream that you really wanted, make sure you keep it alive.

The young you represents innocence in its purest form, when everything was either black or white. As we age, we lose our ability to dream because we've lost that connection with our inner child. We're afraid to reconnect with that inner child because it seems too unrealistic to be taken seriously. Let's hope this isn't the case for you. If your childhood dream still stirs something within you, simply give yourself a second chance to keep that dream alive.
